Alpico Kotsu featured in renewed ‘Tomochika Reiji no Mousou Train’

The variety program ‘Tomochika Reiji no Mousou Train’ is undergoing a renewal, featuring enhanced immersive elements such as first-person perspective footage and detailed views of scenery from train windows. The upcoming broadcast on September 22 will focus on the Alpico Kotsu local line in Nagano Prefecture, which connects Matsumoto to the scenic areas of Kamikochi and Norikura Kogen.

Hosts Tomochika and Reiji (from Nakagawa-ke) will explore the 14.4-kilometer route. The episode will highlight the daily operations of Alpico Kotsu, including the multi-faceted roles of station staff at Shinmura Station and the human drama behind the scenes with drivers. The program also features a collaboration train, the 20100 series, and explores the breathtaking landscapes of the region.
