Alpimed to participate in Expo Valle Arroscia 2026
The Alpimed Integrated Territorial Plan, which connects the Italian provinces of Cuneo and Imperia with the French department of Alpes-Maritimes, will participate in the Expo Valle Arroscia 2026. The event is scheduled to take place from September 4 to September 6, 2026, in Pieve di Teco.
Managed by the Liguria Region through the Parco Naturale Regionale delle Alpi Liguri, Alpimed will feature a branded stand to promote the cross-border Mediterranean Alps area, including Cuneo, Imperia, and Nice. The project's identity was developed through a participatory process involving 15 partners and scientific support from researchers at the University of Turin.
The initiative aims to foster territorial cooperation, promote local products, and support the development of a region characterized by shared history, traditions, and economic relations. A report titled ‘Verso un’identità di territorio’ (Towards a Territorial Identity) has been released in both Italian and French to detail these findings.
