Alpine clubs organize hiking excursions in Italy
Various Alpine clubs in Italy have organized hiking excursions in the mountain regions. The Società Alpina delle Giulie has proposed a trek to Monte Malvueric Alto (1899 m) in the eastern Carnic Alps. The route features diverse terrain, including steep northern slopes with technical channels and southern slopes covered in woods and meadows containing historical remnants from the Great War, such as military mule tracks and tunnels.
Additionally, CAI Valfurva organized an excursion to Monte Cotschen, a 3104-meter peak located in the Livigno territory. The group ascended via the Carosello 3000 cable car, traversing rocky terrain and ridges to reach the summit before descending toward Lago Federia and Malga Federia.
