Alpine drivers miss pole position opportunities at Lone Star Le Mans
Alpine drivers missed opportunities to secure pole positions during recent qualifying sessions. At the Lone Star Le Mans on the Circuit des Amériques, Victor Martins and Charles Milesi failed to convert competitive pace into a top spot.
Despite Martins recording the fastest times in all three sectors of the Hyperpole, he ultimately finished 6th. Martins attributed the result to being hindered by a Ferrari during his first lap and experiencing tire degradation during his final attempt. Milesi finished 3rd, narrowly missing the pole by three hundredths of a second.
