ALPLA Group expands Türkiye operations with two new plants

ALPLA Group, an international packaging and recycling specialist, has commissioned two new state-of-the-art production plants in İzmir and Adana, Türkiye. The total investment for these facilities amounts to approximately EUR 30 million.

The new sites are designed to increase the company’s annual processing capacity in Türkiye from roughly 90,000 tons to 120,000 tons. The İzmir facility covers approximately 50,000 square meters and serves as a versatile platform for PET preforms, closures, HDPE, and PET bottles. The Adana plant, spanning 20,000 square meters, focuses on PET preforms as well as HDPE and PP packaging solutions.

These investments aim to strengthen customer proximity, shorten supply routes, and reinforce Türkiye’s role as a key market within ALPLA’s Africa, Middle East & Türkiye (AMET) region. Since 1992, ALPLA has invested approximately EUR 100 million in the country, which now accounts for about one-third of the company’s capacities and business activities in the AMET region.
