Alps Azumino National Government Park to host running bike race

The Alps Azumino National Government Park (Omachi and Matsukawa districts) is hosting the ‘Running Bike Race Alps Azumino Cup’ on Saturday, October 24. The event features a 130-meter off-road course designed for children using pedal-less running bikes.

Competition classes are divided into four categories: 2-year-olds, 3-year-olds, 4-year-olds, and a mixed group for 5 and 6-year-olds (preschoolers). Each class has a capacity of 36 participants, and pre-registration is required by October 17.

In addition to the races, the event will include bicycle trial performances by Ryoga Tsuchiya, a former national champion from Nagano Prefecture. The races will take place at the kids' course within the park's Mountain Bike (MTB) Park.
