Alsace to host second World Game Pie Championship in 2026

The second edition of the World Game Pie Championship (Championnat du Monde de la Tourte de Gibier) is scheduled to take place on October 27, 2026, in Alsace. The event will be held at Le Chambard in Kaysersberg.

Organized by Meilleurs Ouvriers de France Olivier Nasti, Éric Briffard, and Fabien Pairon, the competition will be held under the honorary presidency of renowned chef Michel Roth. The championship focuses on the pithiviers, a traditional French puff pastry pie, specifically highlighting the complex technical skills required to prepare savory game meat versions.
