Also TM‑B Premium E‑Bike Unveiled by Rivian Spin‑off

Also, the micromobility spin‑off of electric‑vehicle maker Rivian, launched its TM‑B premium e‑bike. The bike was test‑ridden across the Williamsburg Bridge into Manhattan, where reviewers noted its futuristic design, dual suspension, and a unique pedal‑by‑wire system that separates pedaling motion from rear‑wheel drive. It uses a belt‑drive transmission, a removable 538 Wh or 808 Wh battery with USB‑C ports, and a central circular display showing speed, distance and regenerative‑braking data. Two configurations are offered: a standard model with up to 60 miles of range and a Performance version reaching about 100 miles. Pricing starts at US$3,500 for the base version and US$4,500 for the top‑end model, positioning the TM‑B in the premium segment. Also plans to expand the platform with accessories such as passenger seats and cargo bags, and it envisions future autonomous delivery vehicles in partnership with Amazon and DoorDash. Initial deliveries are scheduled for the fall, after a launch window that had been set for early 2026.
