Alt Bank named Nigeria’s Islamic Bank of the Year 2026

Alt Bank has been recognized as Nigeria’s Islamic Bank of the Year 2026 at the 14th Global Brands Awards. The award acknowledges the institution's contributions to ethical finance, financial inclusion, and non-interest banking.

The bank was evaluated based on innovation, industry impact, customer engagement, and its Sharia-compliant product offerings. Its services include personal banking, business support, and specialized options such as the Hajj Savings Account for pilgrims.

In addition to financial services, the bank conducts various social initiatives. Through its AltInstitute digital platform, it promotes knowledge of ethical finance. The bank also supports education via EduFund and the Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE), which has reached over 21,000 girls in Sokoto State.
