Altı Üstü İstanbul filming locations and YouTube release timing

The Turkish drama "Altı Üstü İstanbul" is shot in real Istanbul neighborhoods despite the series’ fictional "Ziyankâr Mahallesi". Production primarily uses historic streets in Fatih, Balat, Eyüpsultan and Üsküdar, while upscale scenes are filmed in Beşiktaş, Levent, Sarıyer and Beykoz.

Episodes air on ATV on Monday evenings; after the television broadcast ends, the full episode is uploaded to the series’ official YouTube channel between 00:15 and 00:30 a.m. the same night. The online version follows the same RTÜK‑approved edit as the TV version, with no uncensored alternate cut. Promotional fragments are posted the night of the upload, and a second teaser appears three days later, typically on Friday or Saturday.

The show also appears in prime‑time line‑ups on Turkish channels in mid‑June, listed alongside sports and other entertainment programmes.
