Alta Floresta municipality warns of fraudulent course advertisements
The Prefeitura of Alta Floresta issued a public alert after a social‑media post circulated advertising a range of vocational courses while using the municipality’s name and official coat of arms without permission. The notice clarifies that the municipal government is not organizing, promoting, or handling registrations for any of the listed trainings, which include positions such as childcare assistant, pharmacy assistant, radiology assistant, veterinary assistant, rescuer, health agent, electrician, elder‑caregiver, nutritionist, and administrator.
Residents are advised not to provide personal data or make payments until the authenticity of any course offering is confirmed through official municipal channels, such as the city’s website or verified social‑media profiles. The administration says it is investigating the misuse of its visual identity and will take appropriate measures to prevent further deception.
