Altamira begins construction of new school in Gleba Assurini

The Altamira municipal government has officially commenced the construction of the EMEIF Cleidiane Sousa de Araújo school in the Ituna III community, located in the Gleba Assurini region. The site is situated over 100 kilometers from the Altamira headquarters.

For the past six years, students in the community have been attending classes in a temporary shed provided by a local association. The new facility will provide a secure and adequate environment for more than 100 students. The land for the construction was donated by the local community to facilitate the project.
