Altamura hosts “Legàmi” film festival at Teatro Mercadante

The “Legàmi” film festival is set to begin at the Teatro Mercadante in Altamura, featuring four screenings designed to examine different facets of Italian society.

The program begins on September 17 with the documentary “Giulio Regeni, tutto il male del mondo” by Simone Manetti, which addresses the international case involving Italy and Egypt. The event will include a video link with lawyer Alessandra Ballerini.

Subsequent screenings include “U. S. Palmese” on September 20, focusing on sports; “Gioia mia” on September 24, regarding childhood; and “Devozioni” on October 1, exploring religion and spirituality. The festival is organized by several cultural associations, including Proloco di Altamura, Cine Club Formiche Verdi, and Accademia Obiettivo Successo.
