Altavilla Vicentina announces temporary one-way traffic on via Melaro

The municipality of Altavilla Vicentina has issued clarifications regarding upcoming traffic changes on via Melaro. To facilitate the construction of a hydraulic infrastructure known as the ‘tombotto Altavilla’—designed to manage water from a new railway track and local territory—the road will temporarily become a one-way street between the via Tabernulae and via Olmo underpasses.

Local authorities have not yet determined the direction of travel or the specific start and end dates for these restrictions. Discussions are ongoing with the Prefecture and other involved entities to establish alternative routes and minimize the impact on commuters and residents. Mayor Zatton stated that citizens will be informed once definitive decisions are made.
