Altea opens registration for 32nd Popular Race

Registration has opened for the 32nd edition of the Altea Popular Race (Carrera Popular 9 d’Octubre). The event features two distances, 5K and 10K, on a circuit approved by the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation.

To improve safety and participant experience, organizers have introduced a change to the start times. The 5K race will begin at 8:30 AM, followed by the 10K race at 9:30 AM. This separation aims to prevent runners in different categories from colliding, a measure prompted by the increasing number of participants in recent years.
