Alteo and Ennakl Automobiles report divergent financial results

Alteo reported a strong financial performance for the 2025-2026 fiscal year, with revenue increasing 11% to Rs 4,247 million. The group's EBITDA rose by 19% to Rs 1,396 million, while net profit after tax grew by 28% to Rs 910 million. This growth was primarily driven by the real estate division, which now accounts for approximately 55% of the group's EBITDA, supported by residential deliveries and construction at Anahita Beau Champ.

Despite these gains, Alteo's Agro-Business division, which contributes 38% of EBITDA, faced challenges due to falling global sugar prices. CEO Fabien de Marassé Enouf noted that operational improvements helped mitigate the impact of these market trends.

In Tunisia, Ennakl Automobiles reported a consolidated turnover of 368.37 million TND for the first half of 2026, a 4.62% increase. However, the group's net profit attributable to the group decreased to 29.97 million TND, down from 37.14 million TND in the same period the previous year. This decline was attributed to a reduction in gross margin and rising costs of sales, which grew by 8.9%.
