Alteogen to receive $25 million milestone from MSD

Alteogen has announced that it will receive a $25 million (approximately 34.4 billion KRW) milestone payment from MSD. This payment is triggered by sales of Keytruda SC, which utilizes Alteogen’s human hyaluronidase technology, ALT-B4.

This marks the first achievement of the sales milestones under the total $1 billion agreement between the two companies. Unlike previous development-stage revenues, this milestone is based on actual global product sales, signaling Alteogen’s transition into a commercial revenue generation phase.

Keytruda SC, which offers significantly reduced administration times compared to the intravenous version, has seen rapid revenue growth. MSD is actively pursuing a strategy to transition patients from intravenous to subcutaneous administration, expanding the drug's utility in various cancer treatments.
