West Bank resident displays US flag to deter settlers
In the West Bank village of Qusra, Loui Ridi, a Palestinian holding United States citizenship, displayed an American flag at his home in an attempt to deter Israeli settlers. The move follows reports of increasing aggression from settlers who have been surrounding Palestinian properties. During a confrontation, an Israeli settler was ordered by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to leave the area after it was designated a closed military zone.
Separately, various regional infrastructure and development projects are underway across Poland and other areas. These include road modernizations in Stalowa Wola, Suszec, Piekoszów, and Szczecin, as well as the upcoming major reconstruction of the Poznań Palm House. In the energy sector, PGE Energia Odnawialna is highlighting the role of pumped-storage hydroelectric plants in stabilizing the national power grid.
