AltexSoft and W Hotels Launch Saudi Arabian Operations Amid Vision 2030 Push

AltexSoft, an AI‑first travel and hospitality technology consultancy, opened a branch in Riyadh to serve Saudi airlines, hotel groups and tourism operators. CEO Oleksandr Medovoi said the move aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 agenda, which places technology and tourism at the centre of economic diversification. The company highlighted its AI‑driven software development lifecycle and compliance with Saudi regulatory bodies such as ZATCA and GOSI.

Marriott International announced the debut of W Riyadh – KAFD, the first W Hotels property in Saudi Arabia. Vice‑President Helen Leighton described the opening as a milestone for luxury lifestyle hospitality in the region. The hotel’s design, created by LW Design, incorporates Saudi cultural motifs and artworks by local artists, including a six‑metre tapestry by Abdulnasser Gharem. Both launches illustrate growing foreign investment in Saudi Arabia’s tourism sector under Vision 2030.
