Altmünster to host community safety and e-mobility events

The municipality of Altmünster, Austria, will host two community events in September 2026 focused on safety and sustainable technology.

On September 12, the Altmünster Volunteer Fire Department will hold a Safety Day. The program includes demonstrations of firefighting techniques, technical rescue operations, and flood and slope water protection. The event will feature the NOAQ Boxwall system for flood defense and offer services such as fire extinguisher inspections and battery disposal.

On September 18, the municipality will host an E-Mobility Day. Approximately ten exhibitors will showcase electric vehicles, including cars, scooters, and bicycles, with opportunities for test drives. The event will highlight regional initiatives like Altmünster's e-carsharing service and the Traunstein Climate and Energy Model Region, alongside a prize draw for various electric mobility products.
