Altındağ Municipality conducts fire safety training for staff

Altındağ Municipality organized fire safety and emergency response training for its staff to enhance occupational health and safety. The training included employees from various facilities, such as the Patient and Relative Guest House, the Barrier-Free Life Center, the Elderly Home, and municipal wedding and marriage halls.

The program consisted of both theoretical instruction and practical application. Participants learned about fire risks, different types of fires, preventive measures, and safe intervention methods. During the practical session, staff practiced using fire extinguishers under instructor supervision, focusing on correct techniques, safe distances, and the importance of wind direction.

Mayor Veysel Tiryaki emphasized that having prepared and conscious staff is vital for the safety of citizens, particularly vulnerable groups like the elderly and individuals with disabilities, during an emergency evacuation.
