Alto Hospicio women complete digital commerce and cost‑management training

A cohort of 22 women from the Caliche 2 and Caliche 3 neighborhoods in Alto Hospicio successfully finished a training program focused on cost calculation, price setting, marketing strategies, and the use of digital tools for business. The course was delivered at the Centro de Formación Estatal (CFT) Tarapacá in partnership with the municipality’s Programa Quiero mi Barrio, aiming to strengthen the participants’ economic autonomy and entrepreneurial confidence.

During the closing ceremony, Ivonne Muñoz, the representatives of the entrepreneurs, highlighted the value of the collaborative process, stating, “We now understand the effort behind each product and can use social media and digital tools as powerful allies.” Participant Mignon Bravo also praised the free training, especially for vulnerable families, noting its relevance for her interest in fast‑food ventures. The program comprised three practical sessions of about three hours each, facilitated by Carlos Rivera of CFT Tarapacá and six business‑administration students who acted as monitors.
