Alto unveils Art 02 timepiece at Geneva Watch Days

French watchmaker Alto has unveiled the Art 02 at Geneva Watch Days 2026. This new timepiece continues the brand’s focus on merging mechanical watchmaking with art, design, and architecture.

The Art 02 features a grade 5 titanium case measuring 42.3 mm by 36 mm and 10.2 mm in thickness. It retains the brand’s signature counter-clockwise rotating central seconds hand. The watch includes a micro-blasted anthracite brass dial and an integrated grade 5 titanium bracelet with a quick-release mechanism for easy strap changes.

At the core of the watch is the Calibre A02, an automatic movement with a micro-rotor developed in collaboration with Cercle des Horlogers. The mechanism operates at 5 Hz and provides a 50-hour power reserve. This release marks a strategic shift for Alto, as the Art 02 becomes the brand’s first permanent line, moving away from its previous model of limited editions.
