Altri project future uncertain following Spanish election call

The future of the Portuguese company Altri depends on the upcoming elections on November 29. Although the Xunta de Galicia had previously archived the company's project through administrative channels, the decision by Pedro Sánchez to call for general elections has created a period of uncertainty for pending legislative matters.

Specifically, the Electrical Planning 2025-2030, which previously excluded Altri's project from the national grid and rendered it unviable, is now in limbo due to the dissolution of the Cortes. While the current executive appeared inclined to reject the project, a potential victory for the People's Party could revive Altri's aspirations to establish its presence in Palas de Rei.
