Alumni associations at Hasanuddin and Syiah Kuala Universities appoint new leadership

Two major university alumni associations in Indonesia have announced new leadership structures for upcoming terms.

At Hasanuddin University, the Mechanical Engineering Alumni Association (IKA TMUH) has established its board for the 2026–2030 period. Ir. Jusman Sikki has been appointed as Chairman, supported by Husain Muslimin as Daily Chairman and Dr. Ir. Taufik Nur as Secretary. The association has organized into seven specialized fields, including research and technology, business development, and social affairs, to strengthen professional networking and contributions to the alma mater.

In Banda Aceh, Teuku Kamaruzzaman, also known as Ampon Man, was re-elected by acclamation as the General Chairman of the Law Faculty Alumni Association of Syiah Kuala University (IKAKUM USK) for the 2026–2031 term. Following the decision made during the VI Grand Deliberation, the new board is expected to be inaugurated in late 2026. The association aims to leverage its members' roles in policy-making and law enforcement to provide academic input and support the implementation of law and regional governance in Aceh.
