Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie defeats PGE Projekt Warszawa

Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie secured a 3-1 victory against PGE Projekt Warszawa in a Tauron Liga match. Despite losing the first set 18-25, the Polish champions responded by winning the subsequent three sets to claim the win.

In the opening set, PGE Projekt Warszawa dominated, leading with a strong serve and maintaining control to finish 25-18. However, the momentum shifted in the second set, which Warta Zawiercie won 25-22. The visitors continued their comeback through tactical adjustments by coach Michał Winiarski, who opted to start Kamil Rychlicki as opposite and Miłosz Zniszczoł as middle blocker.

While PGE Projekt Warszawa relied heavily on Yuri Romano, who scored 21 points, it was insufficient to prevent Warta Zawiercie from overcoming their difficult start to the season.
