Alvar Myhlback faces Calle Halfvarsson in Bjursås Hill Climb

Alvar Myhlback and the Lager 157 Ski Team will face veteran skier Calle Halfvarsson in the Bjursås Hill Climb. The event features a 7.5 km roller ski course, concluding with a challenging 2 km uphill section with a 10% gradient on Myhlback’s home terrain.

Organized in collaboration with Barncancerfonden, the race serves as a fundraiser for the children's cancer foundation. The competition includes a children's race and offers prize money for both male and female winners.

Halfvarsson’s Norwegian coach, Vetle Leander Johansen, expressed skepticism regarding Halfvarsson’s chances against the 20-year-old Vasaloppet winner, stating that the veteran has “zero chance” in this specific uphill setting. The event is being broadcast for free via SC Play.
