Alvarez & Marsal names Prasanna Rajan Managing Director of Turnaround & Restructuring in India

Alvarez & Marsal India announced the appointment of Prasanna Rajan as Managing Director of its Turnaround & Restructuring practice, based in Bengaluru. In his new role he will advise clients on operational and financial turnarounds, business‑model redesign and performance‑improvement initiatives. Rajan brings more than 20 years of corporate leadership and consulting experience across India, the United Arab Emirates and the United States. He previously held senior positions at the Flipkart Group, including Senior Vice‑President, Strategy and Analytics at Myntra, and served as an Associate Principal at Bain & Company and led Customer Excellence for Emaar Group in the UAE. Himanshu Bajaj, Managing Director & Head – A&M India and GCC, said the appointment strengthens the firm’s capability to address heightened geopolitical volatility and rapid technological disruption. Nikhil Shah, Managing Director and Financial Advisory & Special Situations Leader, highlighted Rajan’s blend of consulting expertise and hands‑on operator experience as valuable for rapid performance improvement.
