Alvaro Arbeloa faces pressure at Fulham after Ipswich defeat

Fulham manager Alvaro Arbeloa is facing significant pressure following a late defeat to Ipswich Town, which has left the club at the bottom of the Premier League table. Despite taking a lead through Ryan Sessegnon, Fulham conceded two goals in the closing stages, including a stoppage-time winner by Dara O’Shea.

Arbeloa, who succeeded Marco Silva earlier this season, has yet to secure a league victory in six matches, recording only two points from draws against Liverpool and Manchester United. The club's defensive vulnerabilities have been highlighted in recent losses to Chelsea, Sunderland, and Crystal Palace.

Reports suggest the club's administration may be evaluating potential replacements, with Thomas Frank mentioned as a possibility. Arbeloa's job security appears to depend on the outcomes of the next two matches against Hull City and Coventry City. Despite the scrutiny, Arbeloa has publicly stated, “I am never worried about my job. I don't feel fear.”
