Portuguese football clubs begin 2026/27 preseason training

Alverca kicked off its 2026/27 preparations under new head coach Sérgio Ferreira, bringing in forwards Marco Essimi from Dunkerque and integrating recent signings Noah Raveyre and Toni Tamarit. The squad also confirmed midfielder Lucca Giuntini among the early arrivals.

Nacional started its pre‑season under manager João Gião with a 22‑man roster, adding Angolan forward Faias but no official signings yet. The team will hold a training camp in northern Portugal in July.

Tondela announced the signing of Argentine winger Gastón Novero and goalkeeper Carlão as it aims to return to the Primeira Liga. Coach Ricardo Costa highlighted the new additions as part of a project to build a competitive side for the upcoming campaign.
