Alvi Dasuyev earns UFC contract despite performance dissatisfaction

Unbeaten welterweight Alvi Dasuyev secured a UFC contract following a unanimous decision victory over Jaden Ortega at Dana White's Contender Series. Despite the win, which moves Dasuyev to a 10-0 professional record, he expressed disappointment with his performance.

Dasuyev attributed his inability to finish the fight to jet lag and travel complications. He noted that he flew from Belgium only two days before the weigh-in following a late visa approval. While Dasuyev aimed to finish the bout, UFC CEO Dana White awarded contracts to both fighters, praising Ortega's toughness and the overall performance of both competitors.
