Alvin Kamara signs new deal, returns to Saints training camp

Kamara said the drawn‑out process did not affect him personally and emphasized his mental readiness, loyalty to the organization, and willingness to play any role alongside fellow running back Travis Etienne Jr. The Saints, coming off a 6‑11 campaign in 2025, view the veteran’s return and resolved contract as a step toward improving the squad.

Kamara also noted support from former teammates and his family during the negotiations, underscoring that his focus remains on contributing to New Orleans regardless of any future roster changes.
