Alvin Spencer Targeted Shooting in Bellevue Estate, Antigua

Alvin Spencer survived a second apparent targeted shooting on Monday night in the Bellevue Estate neighbourhood of Antigua. He was shot in the neck shortly after pulling into his yard; a masked gunman fired several rounds from a vehicle that then fled the scene. Spencer was taken to Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre for emergency surgery and remains in stable condition.

The attack follows a previous targeted incident on 17 June 2019 in Perry Bay, where Spencer also sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Antiguan police are continuing investigations and have appealed for information, urging anyone with details to contact the Criminal Investigations Department or Crime Stoppers.
