Alwar: Pet dog confronts four-foot cobra inside home

A pet Labrador engaged in a confrontation with a four-foot-long black cobra that entered a residence in the Katori Wala Tibara area of Alwar, Rajasthan. The incident occurred around 9:00 PM on a Friday, causing panic among the family members.

Before a rescue team arrived, the dog confronted the snake, leading to a fight that lasted approximately one minute. Although the cobra attempted to strike back, neither the dog nor any humans in the household sustained injuries.

Snake rescuer Shivam Chauhan arrived on the scene and located the cobra hiding under a flex sheet in one of the rooms. The reptile was safely captured and subsequently released into the forests near the Bala Quila area. Experts noted that such encounters are more frequent during seasonal changes and rainy weather.
