Always Ready leaves Villa Ingenio stadium amid dispute with El Alto authorities

Always Ready president Andrés Costa has announced that the club will cease playing its home matches at the Villa Ingenio Municipal Stadium in El Alto, moving games to the Hernando Siles Stadium in La Paz for the remainder of current tournaments. Costa cited disagreements with El Alto Mayor Eliser Roca and alleged extortions as primary reasons for the departure, stating the club will not return to El Alto until it possesses its own stadium.

The club leadership also expressed concerns regarding the maintenance of the pitch due to non-sporting events held at the venue. In response, the El Alto Mayor's Office has denied allegations of improper use of the stadium. Local authorities clarified that no kermesses, concerts, or folklore parades have taken place at the facility, asserting that such claims are false. The administration further stated that images circulating on social media depicting beer crates at the stadium were identified as 99.9% likely to be AI-generated content.
