Alyssa Farah Griffin recounts Trump anecdote regarding Jesus H. Christ

Alyssa Farah Griffin, a co-host of The View and former Department of Defense Press Secretary, shared an anecdote regarding Donald Trump on social media. Griffin stated that on her first day at the White House, Trump asked her if she knew what the ‘H’ stood for in the phrase ‘Jesus H. Christ.’ When she replied that she did not, he claimed it stood for ‘Horatio.’

Griffin, who served in multiple roles during the Trump administration including special assistant to the president and press secretary to Mike Pence, noted that she thinks about the exchange at least once a week. The anecdote has drawn attention to Trump’s history of unusual linguistic assertions and word usage.
