Alyssa Smith missing in Chicago after trip with boyfriend

The search continues for 24-year-old Alyssa Smith, who has been missing since September 27 after traveling to Chicago with her boyfriend. Smith, a Chipotle worker from the Palatine area, was last seen in the West Garfield Park neighborhood, specifically between Cicero Avenue, Pulaski Road, and Madison Street.

Her boyfriend, Jacob Ray Caso, returned home alone on October 1 and has been assisting her family in searching the area where she was last seen. While unverified social media reports have suggested she may have been found, her mother, Rebecca Smith, has issued a plea for the public to stop debating the circumstances online, stating that they will continue to consider her missing until she is physically located and can confirm her own safety.

Authorities noted that Smith was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, light khaki-colored pants, and white Adidas shoes. She also has a Pennywise clown tattoo on her shoulder. Police are actively investigating the case.
