Alysson Wanderlei released under electronic monitoring

Businessman Alysson Campelo Catuhyte Wanderlei has been released following a custody hearing, subject to electronic monitoring. This follows a recent arrest by the Civil Police on Friday after he had been released in a separate proceeding regarding a domestic violence complaint.

According to the victim's lawyer, Wanderlei allegedly contacted his former partner via telephone after his initial release, violating a protective order that prohibited any contact or proximity. The original arrest occurred on August 14 for suspected bodily injury and threats under the Maria da Penha Law. The case remains under judicial secrecy, and the victim has publicly questioned the decision to release him despite the alleged violation of protection measures.
