Alytus Business Forum to be held at new Aradas factory

The Alytus Business Forum is scheduled to take place on October 2, 2026, at the new Aradas factory located in the Alytus Industrial Park. This venue choice reflects the city's ongoing industrial evolution and shift toward modern, high-tech manufacturing.

Aradas is investing approximately 6 million euros into the 7,500 square meter facility, which is expected to begin operations by the end of 2026. The expansion aims to increase production capacity, boost exports, and create new jobs. The company already exports products to several European countries, including the Netherlands, Iceland, Norway, Denmark, and Ireland.

Alytus Mayor Nerijus Cesiulis highlighted the city's transformation, noting that the local economy is moving away from its historical reliance on older industrial models toward a more technologically advanced and internationally competitive landscape.
