Alytus District to centralize non-formal education applications

Starting August 15, 2026, residents of the Alytus District will be able to apply for non-formal education (NVŠ) programs through the centralized Centralized Admission to Education Programs Information System (CPIS). This digital platform, accessible via www.mokausi.lt, aims to streamline the enrollment process by consolidating various educational services into a single space.

Through the CPIS, parents can submit applications, monitor their child's admission status, view waiting list positions, and check the availability of the NVŠ basket and final program costs. The system also allows for the electronic signing or termination of contracts with service providers. This expansion follows the existing use of the platform for vocational training and school/kindergarten admissions in 24 Lithuanian municipalities.

Aleksandras Šilkonis, director of the public institution ‘Mokausi Lietuvoje’, stated that the goal is to create a convenient space where families can easily find and choose appropriate educational opportunities, ranging from schools to non-formal programs. For those without internet access, assistance will be provided at selected NVŠ service provider locations.
