The Jurgio Kunčinas Public Library in Alytus is hosting cultural events featuring literature and music.

On October 15, singer, actor, and writer Juozas Gaižauskas will hold an intermediate meeting at the library. The event will include the presentation of his new book, ‘Kobros lopšinė’ (Cobra’s Lullaby), alongside original songs, pilgrimage stories, and theatrical excerpts.

Additionally, the Vidzgiris branch of the library recently hosted ‘Eilėmis ir melodijomis į širdį’ (Lines and Melodies to the Heart), a poetry and music afternoon dedicated to Seniors' Days. The event featured readings by Dalė Baranauskienė and Irena Busilienė from the ‘Tėkmė’ literary club, accompanied by musical performances from the ‘Žara’ vocal ensemble led by Dalia Kočiūnė.
