Alzheimer Fest scheduled for Trentino region

The “In viaggio con l’Alzheimer Fest” initiative will take place across various locations in Trentino from June 6 to June 16. The event features demonstrations, meetings, debates, and shows designed to raise public awareness regarding the health, social, and cultural challenges faced by families dealing with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

The program concludes in Levico Terme on June 15 and 16 with activities held at the lake, the village, and the Terme Park. Provincial Councilor for Health, Social Policies, Disability, and Family, Stefania Segnana, noted that there are more than 8,000 patients in Trentino, a figure consistent with national trends in Italy. The initiative aims to reassure caregivers that they have access to a support network of associations and public institutions.
