Alzheimer's awareness events held in Győr and Sopron

Events in Győr and Sopron have been organized to mark Alzheimer's World Day and raise awareness for dementia. In Győr, participants commemorated the day with a walk and a flashmob involving dancing.

In Sopron, the Sopron Social Institution launched a month-long program series starting with a walk to the Erzsébet-kert Music Pavilion. The initiative, which included Sopron Mayor Dr. Ciprián Farkas, aims to show solidarity with those living with dementia and their families.

Upcoming activities in Sopron include a community dementia screening starting October 9 and the resumption of the Alzheimer Café on October 15, featuring Dr. Miklós Menyhárt. Additionally, a Dementia Advisory Point remains available to the public on the first and third Mondays of each month.
