Alzira governing parties announce 2027 election candidates

The three governing parties in Alzira have designated their candidates for the 2027 elections. The PSPV has named Vicent de la Concepción as its candidate for mayor, following the decision by Gemma Alós to step back from her bid.

Compromís has proposed that the current mayor, Alfons Domínguez, run again, while UCIN has proclaimed Enrique Montalvá as its candidate. The main opposition party, the Partido Popular, has not yet finalized its candidates and expects to resolve the process in September.

In the opposition, several names are being considered for the list, including the possibility of José Luis Palacios repeating, or a change in leadership involving figures such as Ana Jover or Benjamín Ferrer.
