AM Best Upgrades SiriusPoint Financial Strength and Credit Ratings

AM Best has upgraded SiriusPoint and its operating subsidiaries' Financial Strength Rating to A (Excellent) from A- (Excellent). The Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating was raised to BBB from BBB- for SiriusPoint and its operating subsidiaries, reflecting an overall improvement in credit quality.

In a separate evaluation, AM Best also upgraded the Long-Term Issuer Credit Rating to A from A- for the rated operating subsidiaries of SiriusPoint Ltd., signaling stronger creditworthiness within the group. The Bermuda-based company was the focus of both updates, highlighting increased confidence in its financial stability and debt servicing ability.
