Amaal Mallik criticizes Salman Khan Films over missing music credits

Music composer Amaal Mallik has publicly criticized the social media team at Salman Khan Films for failing to credit the creators of the song ‘Main Hoon Hero Tera’ in an anniversary post for the 2015 film ‘Hero’.

In a comment directed at the production house’s official Instagram account, Mallik expressed frustration over the omission of both himself as the composer and lyricist Kumaar. He described the oversight as a lack of respect for the ‘pain, blood, sweat and tears’ involved in the creative process and urged the team to ‘learn to do the basics’ or delete the page. He also requested that his comment not be removed so that Salman Khan himself could see the error.

Following the outburst, singer Armaan Malik defended his brother against online critics who suggested the brothers were being ungrateful to Salman Khan. Armaan argued that creators must fight for proper recognition of their work. In response to the controversy, the original post was reportedly edited to include Amaal Mallik’s Instagram handle.
