AMAALA Yacht Club opens on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast

The AMAALA Yacht Club has officially commenced operations on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast. Developed by Red Sea Global as part of the AMAALA destination, the club aims to establish the region as a global hub for luxury yachting, sailing, and marine tourism.

Located approximately 2,000 nautical miles from Monaco, the facility serves as a strategic winter cruising destination for the global yachting community, positioned closer to the Mediterranean than the Caribbean and acting as a gateway to the Indian Ocean. The AMAALA Marina features 119 berths and is capable of accommodating superyachts exceeding 100 meters in length.

While the club currently offers berthing and social spaces, including the AMAALA Lounge and various dining areas, future plans include the addition of fueling, maintenance, and repair facilities. John Pagano, Group CEO of Red Sea Global, stated that the club brings together luxury, wellness, and regenerative tourism. General Manager Adrian Peet noted that the facility is intended to support everything from superyacht owners to the development of a local sailing culture through a dedicated academy.
