Amado Vargas KO's James Springer after illegal kick at BKB 57 in London

Amado Vargas made a striking debut in bare‑knuckle boxing at BKB 57 on Saturday night at The O2 in London. During the opening round, opponent James "The Pitbull" Springer was pushed through the ropes after an illegal kick. Vargas quickly returned to the ring and, at 2:09 of the first round, landed a crushing right‑hand knockout that left Springer unconscious, earning Vargas a Performance of the Night award.
