Amador Mohedano Accuses Niece Rocío Carrasco of Ambition Over Jurado Testament

Amador Mohedano, brother of the late Spanish singer Rocío Jurado, appeared on Mediaset’s programme “¡De viernes!” after the four‑part documentary “La más grande,” produced by his niece Rocío Carrasco, aired.

During the interview he refuted claims that Jurado had written memoirs, stating that any autobiographical material was compiled by him from conversations with the artist and that the documentary’s sources were “press compilations.”

Mohedano also criticised his niece, saying “la ambición la ha corroído” (ambition has corrupted her), and recounted a tense reading of Jurado’s will. He alleged that Carrasco and her husband Fidel Albiac, together with the family lawyer Ana Iglesias Gil, tried to manipulate the inheritance and threatened the family with excessive tax demands. He said he refused to sign a document the appointed executor wanted.

He announced that he is writing his own memoirs to tell “the whole truth.”
