Amagi Media Labs posts first profit, 30% revenue rise on AI-driven cloud services

Amagi Media Labs, the Bengaluru‑based cloud platform for broadcasters, announced its first quarterly and full‑year profit for the fiscal period ending March 31, 2026. The company recorded a quarterly profit of $2 million on revenue of $28.4 million and a full‑year profit of $2.75 million on $105.5 million of revenue, reversing a loss of $12.7 million in the prior year.

In Indian rupee terms, FY2026 revenue climbed 29.5% year‑over‑year to ₹1,505.6 crore, while adjusted EBITDA surged 563% to ₹155.7 crore with a 10.3% margin. Net profit after tax reached ₹71.7 crore, a turnaround from a ₹68.7 crore loss the previous year. Fourth‑quarter revenue grew 28.5% to ₹397.0 crore and PAT rose to ₹34.3 crore.

CEO Baskar Subramanian credited the rebound to an intensified focus on artificial‑intelligence solutions, citing the AI‑powered “Newspulse” platform and the Amagi INTELLIGENCE portfolio showcased at the NAB Show 2026. The firm expects AI to increasingly shape content creation, distribution and monetisation for its global news‑organization clients.
